Tarmac

Stop shipping ideas.

Tarmac runs every idea through a goal, a sourced analysis, framing and a wireframe before a developer touches it. Then it follows the project all the way to delivery.

How it works

How it works

One runway, from idea to ticket.

Configure the views however you like. The method stays put: that is what keeps projects from drifting away from the strategy.

  1. Idea
  2. Goal
  3. Analysis
  4. Framing
  5. Wireframe
  6. Delivery

01 · Ideas

Everyone submits their ideas.

Two minutes, four questions. Submitters know what happens to their idea and why. Duplicates are caught at submission.

02 · Goal

Nothing gets in without a goal.

An idea becomes a project only if it serves a business objective with a horizon and a metric. A decision maker rules, with a reason and a date. Rejections too.

03 · Analysis

Seven angles, every claim sourced.

Needs, competition, blind spots, risks, open source, best practices, place in the roadmap. Live web research, dated sources, a draft until a human validates it.

04 · Framing and design

User stories and a wireframe. No mockups.

Requirements and stories ranked MVP, then later phases. A low-fidelity wireframe to agree on what to build. Visual design is your team's job, in its own tools.

05 · Delivery and measurement

To Jira or Azure DevOps, then progress, then measurement.

The backlog is pushed once. Then Tarmac reads progress and shows it to leaders without opening Jira. A project is done when the goal's metric has been measured.

What Tarmac watches for you

The leader's dashboard.

Every Monday, the numbers that need a decision, on your phone.

  • 2

    Orphan epics

Active work in Jira tied to no project and no goal. You see it before it costs a quarter.

  • 3 / 3

    Projects in progress

The work-in-progress limit is reached. The next Go has to wait for a delivery or be justified.

  • 1

    Pending decision

A framed idea has been waiting for your Go for 4 days. The Monday digest reminds you.

  • $38

    AI cost this month

Analyses and framings generated, per project and per organization. No opaque credits.

Who it's for
